Micro Generation to create 100,000 jobs

This weeks Newsweek has an article on globalisation by our very own Gordon Brown. He talks a lot about the paradox of globalisation. In his words

“The paradox of today’s globalization is that even its winners feel
themselves to be losers. Globalization is cutting the price of consumer
goods, from clothes to electronics—putting what were once luxury goods
into the hands of millions of ordinary households. Sadly, however, the
citizens of the richest countries are more likely to think of
globalization as the loss of jobs offshore.”

He goes on to explain why globalisation is in general a good thing and isolation a bad thing. While for those for whom jobs are at risk he wants to help equip to find their next job. He sees the “environment” as a great potential employer.

In Britain alone we believe we can create more than 100,000 jobs from energy conservation to micro generation.
